Cavendish University Uganda was established in 2008 and it offers multiple academic programs with most of them being specialized in learning the market. The university has hundreds of students from all over the world and it offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields. What makes Cavendish University Uganda stand out from the rest is the fact that it provides students with an innovative, student-centric, participatory, active and practical studying environment.

Students who are looking for help in their academic journey should be pleased to know that Cavendish University Uganda is offering the Academic Excellence Scholarship for top Ugandan students. The grants are offered to qualifying applicants who are want to start the degree coursework on 1st June 2019.

Cavendish University Uganda Excellence Scholarships Benefits:

The scholarships offered by Cavendish University Uganda will cover up to 100% tuition and functional fees. In addition, the scholarships are available to both first-year and transfer students.

Cavendish University Uganda Excellence Scholarships Criteria:

  • Eligible Countries: Ugandan Citizen.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate coursework in the faculty of Business and Management, Science and Technology, Socio-Economic Sciences and Law.
  • Admissible Criteria: The applicants must have a plan to attend classes in person, have at least 3 Principal Passes at A-level, have attained a total of at least 12 points at A-level at one sitting, strong interest in developing leadership skills, ability to pass a pre-entry written English and basic Math test and ability to pass an oral interview.

The Cavendish University Uganda offers degree programs in the following four faculties:

  • Law;
  • Science and Technology;
  • Socio-Economic Sciences;
  • Business and Management.

How to Apply?

All eligible candidates can choose to apply for the scholarships offered by Cavendish University Uganda after taking admission in an undergraduate degree program at the university. The next step after enrolling in the university is to complete the English and Math test and oral interview. All that is left now is to wait for the Enrolment Officer to contact you with the program Committee’s final decision which is going to happen no later than 19th August 2019.

Supporting Documents

Candidates are required to have a minimum of two letters of reference or recommendation. One of the letters needs to be from a teacher that taught the candidate and the second letter needs to be written by a community leader.
