Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program at the University of Auckland

Introduction.

The Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program or ADP-JSP for short was founded back in 1988 by the Japanese Government.

The scholarship program aims to provide outstanding students who come from ADB’s developing member countries with the opportunity to get a postgraduate degree in management, science, technology, and other development-related academic fields. After finishing their studies, the students are expected to come back to their countries and help them develop.

The studies will take place at the University of Auckland where students can apply for the following programs:

  • Master of Public Health
  • Master of Science (Environmental Science)
  • Master of Arts (Development Studies)
  • Master of International Business
  • Masters programs in Engineering.

We also want to mention that the ADP-JSP scholarship program is offering 140 postgraduate positions per year to well-qualified students. The scholarship program provides students with a monthly allowance that covers housing, instructional materials, medical insurance, books, and travel expenses.
