The International Peace Research Association Foundation is accepting applications for the Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship from countries in the Global South. The fellowship was established back in 1989 by Lawrence Senesh in the memory of his wife, Dorothy Senesh who was a long-time activist for international peace and justice.

Ever since the fellowship was founded back in the 90s, two women have been selected to receive financial help that covers their school expenses. The financial benefit amounts to $5,000 per year for a duration of two years!

Criteria:

Here are the requirements that all applicants need to meet:

  • The Dorothy Senesh Fellowship is available to women from countries in the Global South who have completed a Bachelor’s degree, who have been accepted into a graduate program;
  • Whose graduate work is to be focused on issues related to the goals of the IPRA Foundation;
  • Funds will only be dispersed when the selected candidate is admitted into a graduate program;
  • Awards are considered based on need; therefore, students with substantial funding sources are less likely to be considered for the award;
  • Regions: The Global South.
